For sports enthusiasts, the region offers many possibilities: :

  • climbing the Ventoux by bike … for enthusiasts!
  • the mythical cliffs of Buoux for lovers of climbing,
  • the Pont Royal courses or the Golf de Provence for golf fans
  • you can even consider a beach day, one hour from home in the Camargue or Cassis

Sunbathing, fishing or a boat tour…

Many other activities are also proposed:

The activities around the Mas are varied:

After a day of discovery and walking in our beautiful Provence, you can cool off in the swimming pool or have a well deserved nap in the shade of the trees … or have a nice glas of cold Pastis or Rosé… JUST ENJOY…..

Our MAS is not only a perfect place to stay  to enjoy provencal life and Ina will give you plenty of ideas and books on the region or just for your leisure – but also a perfect location to discover the PROVENCE. Within max 50-60 min by car you see lavenderfields, the sea, mountains, Olive trees and lots more. We always advise our guests from oversea to take this unique location in consideration otherwise you might lose one day packing just to move on

L’ISLE SUR LA SORGUE : Birthplace of the poet René Char (1907-1988)

« The Fontaine de Vaucluse is one of the most powerful resurgent springs in the world. It is the outlet of an important underwater river fed by rainwater draining through the Vaucluse plateau.
Sights to visit:
Eglise St Véran: This small Romanesque church had rounded vaulting over its nave and an oven-vaulted apse flanked by antique fluted columns.
Musée – Bibliothèque Pétrarque: This library-museum is located at the heart of the village in a house said to be built on the site of the house shere Petrach once lived….
Santon Museum: This houses a nice and pretty collection of cribs and santons made by local artisans both recently and in the past

“The Massif des Calanques, with Mont Puget its highest peak stretches almost 20 km between Marseille and Cassis. With is solid limestone, dazzling whiteness and weather-worn pinnacles, it has long attracted nature lovers for its wild beauty. However , its unique character and exceptional charm stem above all from its deep and narrow indentations, the famous “ calanques” (provencal word ‘cala’ means steep slope) which have been chiselled out along its coastline, creating a majestic union of sea, sky and rocks.

There is no better way to appreciate the ochre-coloured landscape of cliff faces, clay- capped earth pillars with jagged crowns Cheminée de Fées, the spot called “the Sahara”, the Cirque de Barries, waterfalls. All are the extraordinary combination of man’s influence on the landscape and natural erosion” a MUST- VISIT during your stay. Do not forget to bring good shoes for this adventure.
